MENOMONIE – Designers of a new video game that teaches children about Indigenous sovereignty, history and culture in northern Wisconsin hope it will help augment the tenets of a state education law.
Before working on the video game, designer Eleanore Falck hadn’t been aware of the events that are viewed as the impetus for Act 31, the state’s promise to educate children about Native American treaty rights, history and heritage.
