Dr. Kimberly Hieftje, Yale School of Medicine, Named Editor-in-Chief of Games for Health Journal
Kimberly Hieftje, PhD, Yale School of Medicine, has officially assumed the role as incoming Editor-in-Chief of Games for Health Journal (G4HJ), the first peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the impact of game research, technologies, and applications on human health and well-being.
Dr. Hieftje is currently a Research Scientist at the Yale School of Medicine and Director of the play4REAL XR Lab at Yale, which focuses on the development and evaluation of theory and evidence-informed videogame interventions using XR technology. She also serves as the Deputy Director of the Yale Center for Health & Learning Games and play2PREVENT Lab at Yale. Read her first editorial.
